Rocío Sánchez Azuara is a woman dedicated to fight for those who are most in need, firm in her conviction that her voice will be heard.  From a young age she had to work hard to support her family and, later, her career.

She has vast experience, having worked as both a host and a journalist in different media since 1988.  Her first forays into television were at Televisa Veracruz (Telever) on the program Pasarela.  She later joined Televisa Chapultepec at the launch of Eco Noticias.From 1989 to 1992 she worked as an anchor on different television news outlets including Multivisión with Alfredo Domínguez Muro and Televisión por Cable for the United States.

In 1992 she joined TV Azteca in its news division and worked on programs such as Desde México Buenas Tardes, Meridiano, Ciudad Desnuda, and Visión Urbana among others.  After several years of hard work, Rocío Sánchez Azuara was given the opportunity of her life – the chance to host a television show with a social conscience.  Cosas de la Vida, Cuenta Conmigo, and Al Otro Lado del Espejo were just the kind of programming she had always wanted to do. She also hosted the Telemundo program Rocío.

In radio she has worked as a producer and director on shows that include Alerta Urbana and Pulso Urbano.  Rocío is a woman dedicated to helping serve the public interest.
