After her dazzling appearance on the first season of La Academia, Nadia has become one of the singers with the greatest international appeal and her albums have a demonstrated sales record.
Her self-titled debut album, NADIA, went gold in 2003 and eventually platinum, selling 150,000 copies.  In November of that year, she was awarded one of the first Oye! awards from the National Academy of Music in Mexico.

Since then, Nadia has released other excellent albums including Contigo Sí, which included a duet with Yahir, Endúlzame el Oído, which includes her debut as a songwriter, and Mujer.  In 2007 she released Un Poco de tus Besos, which she followed in 2008 with A Puro Dolor, a record in the ranchera style that contains the cover of the Alejandro Fernández song “Mátalos.  She has performed at the Principio 2008 Awards and in Brazil for President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

Her album A Puro Dolor earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Regional Mexican album.
